Merry Christmas! Trees, Santa and a singing bonanza!

Well, I haven't kept up with my blogging as well this year insofar as getting events in order. So I'm throwing caution to the wind and putting up what Christmas fun I have so far because it is December 24. I'll catch up on the other stuff at some point, but the following seems more appropriate.

Tree Cutting:
While we do have a fake tree set up in our basement, we decided to be adventuresome and also get a real tree! Here are pictures from our visit to the Prairie Elf Christmas Tree farm.

On the wagon to get to the Christmas trees!

The menfolk heading into the field to choose a tree.

Max and Mommy with the tree of choice.

Crafting with the girls while daddy pays!

Celebrating with the Partridge Family Christmas Album.
Visit with Santa:
We took a little break one weeknight for the KU faculty Christmas Party at the bookstore. Big man was present!

Posing.

Explaining that he would like three items.

Snacking.
This kid just loves Santa. Always has. His favorite color is even red now because of Santa.

Finally, here are the multitudes of pictures and videos from Max's Christmas Program at his preschool. Some are from Rob and some are from Paul.

The official photography and videography team.
How he got from the middle here...
...to the end here, I'm not sure. But he saw Uncle Rob right away.

He's consoling his friend Rawlin here. Rawlin did NOT like being in front of everyone.

The crew.

Dance moves.

Performing is exhausting.

Clappin fer myself.
The reviews are in: two thumbs up!
The secret to getting a good family picture during which all three of us smile at the camera:
1) Have Uncle Rob take it.
2) Tell Max that Uncle Rob has a booger at the end of his camera and Max needs to find it.
The evolution of the pictures shows how hard Max was looking.

Max showed his audience some appreciation!

Okay. Here are all of the videos Paul took. I have no idea what is on them. I haven't even watched them yet. It's a blind post, people.

Happy Christmas, people!!!
